Helping families thrive

I am passionate about creating spaces where individuals feel heard and understood, while also supporting parents and carers in meeting their own needs. Family life comes with its challenges, and I work with families to explore new ways of connecting, communicating, and regulating emotions together. By fostering understanding and strengthening relationships, I help families navigate difficulties and build healthier dynamics.

Building stronger teams

Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of teams, from youth organisations and schools to universities, businesses, and sports teams. I help teams identify their goals, establish safe and effective working cultures, and improve communication. Together, we explore what influences team dynamics and find ways to work collaboratively to resolve challenges and build a positive, productive environment.

My qualifications and experience

I bring over 20 years of experience working with young people, families, and professionals in a range of settings. My background includes:

  • BA (Hons) in Youth Work

  • MSc in Systemic Psychotherapy

I have worked as a youth worker, bereavement specialist, and Family Therapist, supporting individuals, families, and professionals across the UK. My experience spans:

  • Schools, youth offending teams, and mental health services

  • Bereavement support, including working with Winston’s Wish for seven years, specialising in complex grief such as homicide, suicide, and military family losses

  • The NHS, where I currently work part-time in a Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team

  • Leading family therapy and eating disorder clinics in central Bristol

I also offer systemic supervision and consultation for professionals and provide bespoke training for schools, organisations, and sports teams.

Working together for lasting change

Whether working with families or teams, my goal is to create spaces for meaningful change. By fostering connection, communication, and resilience, I support individuals and groups in finding new ways to grow and thrive.

If you’re looking for support, training, or consultation, I’d love to hear from you.
